Goodbye to Love

I've never been in love
I'm afraid to fall in love
and I'm afraid I won't
I loved you. I loved you very much.
but I never fell in love with you.
I thought we were soul mates
but you never fell in love with me
so I never fell in love with you
but oh, how I wanted to
back then. But now, I don't know.
I don't know if I can trust you with my heart;
I know I'll be heart broken
in the end.
because in the end, my friend,
we must always say goodbye.
